I ain't totally new to these parts.

The high end PC for my friend went together real smooth.

It flies. The only problem is the EZ8 Optical Audio card
(8 channel digital recording card)

is only being recognized as an audio controler so it's software doesn't want to install. I left a message with their tech support 3 hours ago but they still haven't gotten back to me. I have some ideas on what to do, trying the card on a PC with a different OS, not XP, uninstalling the soundcard and it's software then trying to install the EZ8 card 1st and finally trying it with the onboard sound instead of the Soundblaster Audigy MP3+ but I rather wait until I talk to their tech support 1st. I'm not bringing the PC to my friend until next weekend and everything else is done so I'm not in a hurry.

Once again, I'm flinging myself at the mercy of your -- and others' -- computer experience with a pretty silly question:

I'm trying to write in French and Spanish but my keyboard doesn't have keys for accent marks. Any advice? Is there something I can download?
