Mr. Lichello makes it very clear in his book that the minimum buy is not based on a fixed quantity. He recommends a minimum transaction size of 5% of the stock value or $500 whichever is greater. Since the number of shares changes with every transaction the minimum number of shares bought and sold would change with every transaction.
