According to records at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Brown, 37, was released from federal prison on July 8, 2002. He is currently being supervised by the federal probation office in.

Dang it. Reading that resume made me think of something. Many here in IHUB, especially a lot of the MODS, appeared to have a lot in common with MATT, and echoed each other's thoughts. Someone asked me about your rather ridiculous post, so I'll take a moment to set the record straight.

One wonders (well, one really doesn't) why didn't you cite your "source"? It was Frank Merhib's blog, the one he created to attack Bob, Matt and iHub when we refused to remove this post from 2002:

He sued iHub and he received a default judgment only because he improperly served us. At the same time he created an anonymous blog which included all kinds of contrived content, including his alteration of the post about him and his accomplice.

When we became aware of the suit we moved to have his default judgment reversed, which it was, and then we moved to have it dismissed and he dropped the case. Before we were able to petition the court for sanctions and an order for his blog to be removed, he rather inconveniently died.

I'm glad Dave satisfied my mild curiosity about the source of that post.

Though the freedom (within a site's rules) to pretty much say whatever you want is something I think is great about message boards, reading something where someone is so egregiously lying about you and obviously knew it when they posted it isn't a lot of fun.

Though the ridiculousness of what I was reading about myself did occasionally make me chuckle because it was like Chuckie had become an author at National Lampoon.

As I believe I told you yesterday, it is NOT true. It's derived from a tendentious "article" written by Jim Bolt, former CEO of GECC, and now a convicted felon.

In this iteration, the original names have been changed.
