jds, I really think you're in a very slim minority with the opinion in this

The one thing I want to say, is if your not reading and understanding every filing put out by any company your invested in, you need to sell your shares.

I certainly don't understand every part of every filing, so I would be on the sidelines if I shared that opinion.

I learn new things all the time. Quite often, thought-provoking posts will generate an interest in some aspect that I will investigate from several angles and solid sources.

Heck, I don't even think all of the management of most companies understand (or even read) all of the filings.

If I don't understand every bit of our tax code, do I still need to play the tax game?

It takes all kinds and the decision to invest or not is up to the individual, obviously.

Just curious, JDS......since you read and understand every filing, were you aware in December that the daily penalty was going to end in December?

This was a very big issue. At the time, nobody here on this board seemed to be aware of the ending date. Did you miss it? Did we all miss it? One thing for sure....nobody set us straight

As we know, IR reads this board every day and tries to stay in touch with what investors are thinking. I strongly feel that DDI erred in not nipping this topic in the bud and clarifying the issue. Instead, they chose to wait until March to tell us. A 13k daily penalty with no clear cut end date was a big issue and it caused a lot of understandable consternation among investors.
