Chuck in Kansas, Although QBID is carried by RCN right now in the beginning, it is very possible that, in the future, other companies will pick up QBID to carry with them.

Time to climb down off of the ledge, Chuck.

The reason investors would have doubts about RCN emerging from bankruptcy has to do with the question of whether their shares will survive the process--not whether RCN will survive.

RCN will not disappear off the face of the earth. That, my friend, is a certainty. If, for some reason, they cannot come to an amicable settlement with their creditors, they have extremely valuable assets (including 1+ million subs) that would quickly be purchased be a competitor.
