If the gov gave every american tax payer a chunk of cash it would've had a better effect on the economy. Just think about it for a sec....the wheels of the economy would've kept turning in all sectors..sounds goofy but it would have worked imo...look where we stand now. I believe we'll see the Housing problem get worse as people will be forced out of homes and seeing forclosures more and more, and that will have a negative responce in all areas.Unemployment will continue and the stimlus package will have little effect for the average person. If something drastic is not put into effect fast crime will rise in places like never before.PEOPLE better start putting every cent they can away for needed things like food clothing shellter etc Now get rid of Material things they Really don't Need or can live without.And for Savings I don't see banks as the place to put it.Look at what a 402 k is worth now compared to 2-3 years ago.Far to many facing closure.Is the SKY FALLING -NO. BUT it darn sure could Rain down on any not prepaired.jmo. And I know very little.
