Wang..

I used to weigh about 200lb with 30 inch waist.I'm 5,10"or11"..lol ..used to have some good size.
Now i weigh 170lb and 31inch waist.

Well..there goes my vision of you being a little 5 foot tall, 120 lb. China-man!..LOL..sounds like you're the muscle man, Bill the string-bean man, me the 'short fat guy'...

When I got married back in the early 70's I had worked out with weights all during junior high and high school..I weighed 140 with a 28" waist..I could move like the wind too..I guess time has taken it's toll..the 'ol middle age 'spread'..

Cool..maybe that will me my 'long range' goal.

Oh, Short people live longer.

(Sticking my tongue out..LOL.)

Going to breakfast bar with Unc and pig out now..I'll start my 'diet' tomorrow!

Later!

Wang - Geeesh!
Did ya have to mention Boy George's name in the same post with mine? LOL
Sounds like you're a force to reckon with, O Sod-Laying Grasshopper....(martial arts, huh?)

Pinched nerves will keep you out of weight-training for sure. Hope it's back to normal and you can start kickin' butt again soon! LOL

I'm a great believer in getting out of your house to exercise.
To each his own, but I find having other people around brings out a competitiveness in me that I can't get at home...like ihub

Hardest thing for most people (me too) is gaining the discipline to stick with a training/diet program and a schedule they can live with. Helps to write down steps to a goal so you at least take the first step.

Step-1___ ask around for a good free-weight gym.
Step-2___ call the gym, get their hours, price, etc.. If you're a smoker like Dave & me, ask if the StairMasters come equipped with ashtrays. lol
Step-3___ get a gymbag, sneakers, shorts or zubazz, t-shirt
Step-4___ Day 1 just show up and go home.

YOU WILL BE AMAZED WITH THE RESULTS!!! ***GUARANTEED***

Ten bucks says the kids get the playroom. LOL So you better take out a membership now...
