goodolboy, ... It only tells me - if it's true - that Deli would have asserted his 5th Amendment rights in the deposition. Treffry (perhaps for many other reasons, too) would not have let Deli talk freely unless the offer to settle the civil and criminal claims had been accepted.

If he did represent Deli, Treffry is goofier than I thought. He should have run the other way from Deli if he had divided loyalties. Looks to me almost like a way to get insurance that that Deli not talk and a way to get information about what questions the feds are asking.

What do you think anyone will learn about those Deli sold for from a deposition where the 5th is taken? I think, nada.

It would be interesting to know - if it's true - whether Deli has switched attorneys now that the civil complaint has been filed. Once he's served, an appearance will be placed on file by Deli's attorney. Any bets it's not Treffry? ... eom

Jarta, I believe Treffrey was Deli's attorney at that time.

LOLOL!! I can just imagine the sort of dreadful advice the Squid would give Deli. Tears of laughter!

if that's the case, i would think that Tref was working for free so that he could be certain to cover his butt as much as Deli's.
