Mickey, The English case was not about validity or infringement. It was about if the patents were essential to the technology.

The patent that Judge Pumfrey declared essential can still be challenged in court by Nokia for validity and also that they do not infringe.

JMO and if I'm wrong I will be corrected by one of the attorneys.
