"frogdreaming,"

That was only published this morning (5 hours ago, according to Google.) It's not reasonable to assume that I'm able to see such things in the future, as if it had already happened.

The Anne Pressly murder case is, in many ways, similar to DNAWitness usage scenarios. In that sense, it is quite important. There are many cases in which DNAWitness could be useful, beyond those it has already helped solve. Also, as we know, there are probably cases successfully cracked by DNAWitness, that we simply don't know about. (FBI, crime labs and police departments who purchase SNPStream from either DNAPrint Genomics, or Beckman Coulter, and any other labs/departments that have confidentiality terms, and choose not to release the info.)

Regarding the volume, there have been many occasions where DNAG had good news, yet share price continued down due to the blatant manipulation. Manipulation of DNAG has, in my opinion, discouraged a lot of investors. Securities manipulation is illegal and wrong.

I never said the Anne Pressly murder case _was_ a DNAWitness case. I said it was a possibility, that it looked like one, to me. The report put out just 5 hours ago doesn't actually definitively answer the question (routine traffic stop, sure, but that doesn't actually tell us they didn't get a physical description of the subject with DNAWitness, prior to that, perhaps influencing how the traffic stop unfolded. We may never know, if the department/lab has SNPStream and/or confidentiality terms.)

The usage cases, and existing publicized dramatic successes, of DNAWitness, are very relevant to DNAG. There is nothing inappropriate about someone mentioning that a particular case in the news looks like it fits the pattern of a DNAWitness usage case, and asking whether or not DNAWitness might have actually been used in that case. We still don't know, really. It may appear somewhat less likely, after the report put out this morning, but it doesn't close the book on the question. Even if DNAWitness wasn't used in the case, it could very easily be argued, that it should have been, in order to gather more evidence for the search for a suspect.

frog-The Little Rock police department has now admitted that DNA gained from the crime scene and from Anne Pressly’s RAPE revealed the race of her attacker weeks ago..and they refused to inform the public!
