It is increased so there is room to put out more shares in the OS which in return weakens the pps. Increase the OS and float and the pps goes down due to dilution.
I got your point, all I'm saying is that the co will increase A/S though R/S. 9.8B: 0.0001 = (say) 980B:0.01. That would be R/S 100:1.
They can then increase O/S and float, they can maximize it over and over again, but I don't feel like it's going to happen at least not immediately and not at once. On the contrary, I believe the stock will experience a decent run once the company is recapitalized.
