Rainmaker why would it be a horrible thing to protect shareholders?
A halt in a situation like that is actually beneficial for the company as they have taken a stand to protect the shareholders instead of what you see here whihc is an endless stream of .0001 shares that crashed it to no bid.
Halting it for a legitimate reason in order to protect the shareholders is the way to go in this type of situation.
I saw a stock where an illegal fax blast was initiated. Many people called and wrote them begging for a halt but the company ignored the requests and it went from .20 to .0001
How is that any better than halting the stock, getting control of the shares and then moving forward? Or if halting the stock is so damaging, why not get the shares back before going on a PR blitz and openingthe door for those shares to be dumped into the market?
Any way you look at it, this was not the way to get ahold of a company stock that has billions upon billions of unaccounted for shares.
