Jatropha doesn't always have to compete for food farming land areas.

I'm sorry but I thought I read somewhere that Jatropha has the advantage of not requiring typical farming land requirements and in fact can be grown in other areas where standard crops are not sustainable. In this way, Jatropha does not necessarily have to compete with food crops.

Let me track that article down I had read.

Still waiting for the definition of arable - earny...................

Better yet:
earny says:
1. Total arable land in Belize is 22,800 sq km. ~
14,250 sq mi.

2. Arable land in Belize is only 3.05% or 434 sq mi.

I say:
make up your mind earny - which is it:
#1 or #2

I see 14,250 sq. miles of arable land, which according to your own words BLDV only needs 78 sq. miles which is
only -

EVERYONE READYYYYYYYYYYYY - ACCORDING TO EARNY'S OWN NUMBER - BLDV ONLY NEEDS 0.0054736% OF THAT TO CREATE 100 MILLION GALLONS OF NON FOOD STOCK BIO-DIESEL

Thats right less than six tenths of one percent, and that is if arable land is need, which it is not needed.......................

Let's get real - earny - come on.....................
