It sounds to me like Labwire has 5 ful-time employees. Having "25 service contract individuals available as used" (quoted from EarnestDD's post) does not imply a full-time expense. It implies that as Labwire gets blasts of work that can't be handled in a timely manner by the full-time staff, Labwire has the ability to pick up the phone and call as many of the 25 contract individuals as are needed and available.
Just my opinion.

Besides, the only way I see revenue per employee as a meaningful metric is if it is used as a comparison among companies in the same or similar industries. It doesn't seem very useful to me as a stand-alone number.

Actually when all the baloney is factored out Labwire has the capability of running about $ 750k per employee revenues with competing companies at around $ 175k per employee.
With lower fixed costs due to the effeciency of Labwire's platform it is positioned to offer both better services AND better prices thus increasing its business year after year.
