I'd guess on the order of 100K Opterons (this Q, as opposed to 10K or 1M).

You must've missed the 90nm samples shown last November.

Must have... what frequency were they running at? Remember, AMD had SOI Opteron samples out over a year before they actually had product at any frequency that was marketable... I think once they get 90nm samples at competitive frequencies (>=2.4GHz) that the power curve will be much different.
