French Law does not establish world wide law. And it darn certainly does not establish our contract law. And in fact, where is the frigging contract that says Nokia and Samsung are licensed to us IDCC's IPR without payment. If such a contract exists produce it Mr. Anyes. One that is signed by the parties to that affect.
I have never seen contract language that does not spell out the method and timeliness of the payments for the good or service included in the contract. The time to negotiate is before the contract is signed. Once signed it is a done deal.
Maybe in France the parlay and agree over a bottle of wine, some bread and cheese.
rev..my point is simply..whether or not we are essential or not essential..whether we offer a FRAND rate or Nokia demands a FRAND rate OR wants some other rate..this continual game of charades is simply that.."a game of charades"..or a game of delay,obscure the REAL issue..You use the IPR..Pay for it!
