Petz, good points. On your quiet period point, a slight modification: AMD has a legal obligation to report material news to its shareholders, even in a quiet period. However, if such a major production change were forced so suddenly then they would be obligated to make a press release that all shareholders can see. Selective release of such information would be illegal, if it was selectively released to some shareholders rather than others it would be insider trading.

I think that, in the quiet period, an absence of statements by AMD means that imaginations run wild.

Petz: is it possible a material part of the K8 SOI production capacity will be diverted to 32bit K8 parts?

BTW do you have the die sizes for 130nm S939, 754 and 940 parts? How about the same dies at 90 nm.
