Sand: you and I have had a lengthy discussion on the need to promote accepted, independent, industry tests, vs standards and comparable costs with competitive products, in order to market the products and demonstrate instant credibility. I think we are both in close agreement on the import of these data.

Either they read an email you sent asking for that info, or it is one hell of coincidence, since we just barely had the discussion. lol

It will be interesting to see industry testing vs standards along with any comparable cost data they currently have if it is provided.

Just a footnote:
I am quite familiar with the terms "flame resistant", "flame retardant" and "fire proof" along with the differences(none of which were in the article), however I thought "flame suppressant technology "(which was in the PR) a very interesting terminology. I view to "suppress flame" seems like an action word versus a the descriptive adjectives I am used to seeing. Just a note of interest nothing more.

It will be interesting to see which ASTM test is used, assuming that is their standard.

Would it be too far-fetched to think this could be use as a house wrap, to prevent homes from catching on fire, like in the california firestorms?

A home owner who is in the path of a firestorm, can then buy a large roll of the Fire Suppressant EPX Nansulate and basically wrap the house with it. If its transparent, that would be awesome.

Intk...go...go...go

by the way...

Fire<not flame>suppressant is define as = an agent directly applied to burning fuels to extinguish the flaming and smoldering or glowing stages of combustion.
