Since the new system has been instituted where members can request reviews of deleted posts, there have been tons of posts restored, and several abusive moderators removed from their positions.
The system is working as designed for the intended purpose.
I'm sure admin wished more posters knew about it and used it.
That's why god gave you the ability to send PMs to Admin-- even with free accounts. I've seen them remove assistants and mods promptly after inappropriate deletions. Your wish for an absolutely neutral mod will never come true though because for a mod to want to be a mod, he's going to have to have some interest in the stock-- pro or con. I mod boards of stocks I like and stocks I hate. Most mods can be an adult and know what the rules are.
I do say the new appeal process is a beautiful thing. It has allowed a few issues to be promptly addressed.
Maybe a script could be written to PM a person if their post was deleted. It would serve several purposes. It'd notify them of the appeals process, and it could also serve as a warning so people know they're posts were deleted for alleged TOUs.
They do the same thing to me on SWVC. I just decided to not subscribe again. They delete my post because I don't agree with the pumpers. The Mods there are biased and to show they have the power to delete it they do it. It doesn't matter if it's a fair and honest post, if it's not PRO TOM or great stock post, mine get deleted.
I agree with Crashman, they are abusing the power they have and theres no consequenses for them to stop and be fair.
crashman - I moderate both SWVC and WNBD. I've never had a need to PM you, nor have I had the desire. iHub admins may feel free to view my PMs. Moderators work hard to delete post in violation of TOU - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/complex_terms.asp - as moderators, we may not always be right. iHub Admins do a wonderful job of administering/overseeing iHub moderators and/or users.
If I recall correctly, you've been banned twice on the SWVC board. Both times were by Shelly who reviewed your messages on the board and deemed the vast majority of them to be in violation of TOU. I have to agree with what Dave said below.

You've had more than your fair share of removed posts remain that way after review. And a couple of lengthy bans as well.
Your suggestions might have more credibility when you present them with clean hands.

Ok, here is a problem, and I hope you are not going to say "just don't post there anymore". Some boards like WNBD and SWVC are moderated by very biased members. I happen to be more shall I say 'objective' on these stocks and post when I can. Here are todays statistics on my posts on WNBD which are typical for these boards: I posted about 20 posts 8 of the posts got deleted all of the deleted post restored after I protested to the admin I got one foul language pm send to me
Good news: I have to say, without me being able to see the post deletions and being able to protest them, I probably would be banned already for "too many deleted posts" like I was prior to this feature Bad news: The moderator(s) keep deleting my posts no matter what and it is a lot of work for me (and maybe the admin) to get them restored every time. 2 of the board moderators have send me pm's telling me that they will delete my posts because of my negative stance on the stocks.
So my question is, shouldn't board moderators: A) be selected to be impartial and/or B) be monitored for their behavior when it comes to posting/deleting
BTW. I'm not the only poster to be treated that way on those boards.
