Hi Tom, Newport seems to be working fine.

I haven't encountered any Type Mismatch problems so far. I don't recall for sure; however, it's possible that, sometime in the past, I might have copied the newer 'winport.exe' file to the original program diskette.

Anyway, it works well and my accounts are all updated now.

Thanks for the outstanding tech support! I am pleased to be a part of the community of Newport users once again.

This week, I had 2 Buys and 2 Sells, which seem like good ying-yang balance.

Yes, go ahead and overwrite the installed Winport.exe file with the newer one. Then you should be good to go.

Don't forget that all the tickers need to be 5 characters long. So if you own 3M the ticker needs to be MMM_ _ (with two underscores for the last characters).
