Ok, my wife angrily says that I was way overboard and that I sound like a bad pumper. Having considered this and granting that this really just boils down to another investment endeavor, I cannot help be awed by the implication of the FOLO technology. I am sure someone else will eventually come up with something similar or even better but we already have this technology and the only remaining question is its implementation.
The following is a statement from Effective Control Transportation's own web site:

We brought the company public in order to accelerate the process of putting this extremely valuable product on the market as widely as possible and as fast as feasible. Considering what gains are achieved by companies using this full suite of products, we came to realize that for every month that goes by without the FOLO being installed in every truck, the statistics of thousands of people worldwide dying on the roads is left unchanged, and the impact of those death is not only emotionally costly for the families, friends and relatives, it is costly for the transport companies themselves and the companies that insures them.
Therefore, our goal is to have this system installed in every truck, taxi, airplane, bus etc. and our current strategy, through the hard work of several people actively participating in this project is aimed at making this a reality."
