M.S., That he did...that he did...

I had a long phone conversation with Jake just a short time ago and, aside from the roughness of his voice, he was cool & going about his business in a new place he got in Virginia (sounded real nice).

He was getting off the phone, after a while, to help his family move some chairs around, I believe. I thought of how nice it would be to talk with him again after he got all settled in there.

I did not realize he was that close to the end. As I have stated before, it would have been real nice to meet him there.

NovoM: Jake indeed was most influential to countless people whom and how much he influenced he never even realized...I have regrets now, I wish I emailed him and told him so...I am a tough woman and not emotional...but...in "down" time such as just now...I went back read through posts and I do get emotional because of the fact that he was very ill and I was in denial of that and just reading cisco's posts about him etc....anyhoo....I hope LMRI is out there somewhere and shows us a post even if it's a "..." Nice to read your post as Liz said, Jake was a very good man and I missed meeting him by a matter of 5 minutes...wish I had gotton there sooner....
