The problem, gfp, is that Delta House is now called the "FDA" and the agency needs to listen to Dean Wormer's advice that "fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go thru life." FDA rejects or delays promising cancer drugs (Genansense, Junovan, Provenge), flu vaccines (Flumist, recently approved for kids under 5, I believe, after huge studies and years of delay), and promising therapies for AMD (Retaane, approved by EMEA), because they worship statistical analysis, ignore clinical relevance and are paranoid that anyone, regardless of whether or not they're dying from cancer or going blind or going senile for that matter, might have some untoward side effect. Where's Mark McClellan when you need him and could someone please put a gag on Grassley and Kennedy? The reason Cor's share price is in the dumps is because Delta house (FDA) has to make the decision and who knows what they will do next.
