Not surprisingly, you misunderstand the General, because you misunderstand his mission. He has been clear all along, that he only answers questions regarding his expressed mission in Iraq. When he has been asked questions outside the scope of his military effort against the insurgents, he has always referred the questioners to Crocker or the White House. If he answered Senator Warner's question, he would be criticized for stepping out of bounds. Didn't Hillary Clinton, say we were safer?
