After two days of Congressional hearings, it all came down to this exchange between Senator John Warner and General Petraeus:

Sen John Warner (R-VA):
"General, do you feel that the Iraq war is making America safer?"
General Petraeus:
"I don't know actually. I have not sat down and sorted it in my own mind".

Quite an admission from the guy who was sent up to Capital Hill to sell The Decider's war!
