porscha, I ordered the table and it's on the way.
I wanted something sturdy and big enough to hold 3 big CRT monitors.

The table is big enough so that I think I can probably arrange the monitors in a slight semi-circle.
Good suggestion.

The other flea-market items you mentioned are definite possibilities, such as various kids of storage devices.
