I agree and it's funny because I remember having to explain to the rep who attended my call what exactly a transfer agent does..LOL. After which I asked him to track the info down. GO BOY GO...GO GET THE INFO.. GOOD BOY.....
About five minutes later he comes back in a frenzy to the phone and tells me that he is unable to track down that information because "that kind of stuff is handled by the back office"....I nearly lost it laughing.
I couldn't take it anymore. It was just too funny. This poor guy had no clue what the heck was going on.
good distinction. the info i got(new TA) was obviously from a rep who has probably been fired for their screw up of giving out this info prematurely. on the 2nd call to TDAM my friend was on a 3 way call with Select and TDAM (without the knowledge of Select). when they realized my friend was on the line and a shareholder they abrubtly ended the call. Select is still (or the time of the call) the official TA, but both Select and TDAM confirmed a change was in process. However, i would imagine both are not going to make the mistake again until all is official. hubluv
