COO (earnings calendar) our earnings play posted early this afternoon for DOWNSIDE. We expecting downside after the report We are straddling COO December 45 calls and January 40 puts (for maximum downside)possibly holding some short as well. Typical buying into the close maybe like AZO just shorts like us covering. Earnings have nothing to do with shorts covering earlier positions, they have their own lifecycle depending on the earnings report.

We expect it to go the way of JCOM, BSTE, NTES, CECO, COCO and AZO.

Our earnings calendar has been upgraded just last night and APOL and UOPX were added actually December 9 night but fully in the newsletter as a bonafide PICK today. More 'walking wounded" techs (KLIC, ADIC, CMOS, AMD today) and even retailers will be added tomorrow and of course next week. As usual email updates to those (a large proportion our subscribers don't come into our trading room but suffice with the intraday emailed updates, they don't need to be sitting in a room all day they make their gains and that's it, with exact triggers, bulletins, intraday charts, reversal period updates, etc. but some choose to and we cater to them also)
