Maybe direct marketing is more difficult in China than we think, and maybe the purchasers there require more hand-holding, have less internet access, fewer credit cards, and need to "see" what they're buying. Just a few reasons for a very small deviation in their biz model... after all the fundamental aspect of their biz is to sell computers, so no one's advocating a complete overhaul.
