Ge_jim, It is undeniable that you have done well in trading this stock, and those of us that have held and missed some of the sell points have failed to take advantage of these oportunities. However, that doesn't mean we have missed the entry points...and many of us have a substantially larger number of shares in the money than we did 3 years ago.

As I said in the posts... that's OK. Just a different approach, and different expectations with where we want the stock to go in the short term. I think it's obvious that a trader, who is out at this point would like to see the stock go down to create a profitable entry point; whereas the long term holder wants to see the stock go up of course. And the posts of the two opposing schools here on the board will reflect these agendas whether we realize it or not. That's really all there is to it.

Now in the case of Ed, I just can't figure out his agenda. He has stated he is executing his exit strategy, and will buy no more regardless of the price; so one would expect that he would want the stock to appreciate significantly. Yet his disdain for IDCC and his skepticism of the company come through loud and clear in all his posts. It seems counter productive to his agenda to be posting in such a way.

OT My first pick for 2004 is TIVO, we'll see how I do over GeJim's picks, I will write down his first pick which is NIKE

So far in 2003 my picks have all done well including xmsr, imds, aria, siri, apple computers, pixar, halliburton

The way I pick them is simple, don't care about charts and don't get deep into the financials of the company.

I follow one of the strategies employed by Peter Lynch and it seems to have worked wonders. Good Luck.

Of course me mentioning names does not effect the stock in any way just like to go head to head with some of the self professed gurus here, we will see who does better

Remember those so called gurus who are saying IDCC will never reach the hundred level, well they never picked QCOM before the big run, they did not buy MSFT or Home Depot when they went public, so these gurus are only good when it comes to picking up a few points and then trading out of the stock, they are never there for the story stocks and they are never there before the rush occurs. That is why I don't give them any of my attention. Buona Fortuna.
