Doc, while the construction was put on hold, redesign and dramatically enlarged, the need for the facility was negated with the location of another existing site in the UK where they could contract for commercial production with the EDEN. They won't announce the specifics until approval is announced but you can be assured, they have it covered.
They've not identified precisely where the facility is located, but I think it's clear it's not in Sawston. While that might not make it as convenient, the key is it will give them capacity until the new Sawston facility is up and running. The question at that point is whether they want to keep the added capacity of the second site. I would suspect that if they're close to, or have European approval, they will keep the second site at least until they build the additional cleanrooms planned on the existing Sawston structure. Of course, it's also possible that with the expansion of the new Sawston site they no longer think they'll need the other large cleanrooms on the existing structure. LP clearly is planning for well into the future and keeping her options open.
