You started by saying the purpose of settlement for both parties is to limit legal costs and eliminate the risk of an adverse decision. I agree in general, but with NWBO the legal cost point is a little different if counsel is working on contingency. It may limit some of NWBO’s out of pocket legal costs, but the attorneys still take their fee from the settlement.

Canaccord may be the one writing the settlement check, but NWBO’s lawyers still take their cut before NWBO sees the net.

If NWBO had Canaccord dead to rights for massive damages, why settle and leave all that money on the table? Can you explain why?
