White Tesla Crashes Down Embankment on I-215 North

A solo white Tesla sedan crashed and went down an embankment on northbound Interstate 215 near the Newport Road on-ramp Monday evening, prompting lane closures and an emergency response.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) dispatch logs, the incident began just before 6:00 p.m. The vehicle reportedly crossed all traffic lanes before traveling off the right side of the freeway and coming to rest in a concrete drainage channel at the bottom of the embankment.

Another Tesla just driving along when suddenly it veers across all traffic lanes and off the right side of the freeway. I wonder if the Tesla thought there was an exit there...GPS glitch?

I'm begging all of you to NEVER get in a Tesla as long as you live. It started accelerating on its own in a parking garage and my dad lost all control of the car and we ran into a wall at 40 mph. Most horrifying experience of my life.
