You can sue anybody for anything.
The biggest part of their so called case was dismissed. ( the naked short and stock manipulation part) The spoofing part (which was allowed to continue) involves only about 40 million shares (in the relevant period) and about 1-3 pennies per share. It's not a huge case. Also, the market makers' defense in my opinion will be - that there was so much stock that NW was selling, they needed to make fair and orderly markets, which is their job! They weren't attacking the stock or bashing it, they were trying to keep an orderly and efficient market while LP was dumping hundreds of millions of shares over time. You literally know nothing about stocks, market makers or how any of it works.
But hey, you do you and I'll do me. Fair enough?
