I think that it is fair to say that there was a much heralded 'special relationship' between NWBO, Vested Clinical Interests & the Regulator in the early days.
Because the MHRA lacked the expertise in this emerging scientific field, they very much allowed the tail to wag the dog.
And it was under these circumstances that NWBO tried to BS their way to approval, hence the 1m + pages of pure speculative waffle, simply relying on the Regulator's ignorance (bull shit baffles brains).
Fortunately, due to changes at the top, a new set of un-invested, reputation wise, eyes, took a fresh look at the application and the nature of the company behind it.
In tandem to this, third parties oversaw their own audit of matters.
You'll note that LP is just wringing out the last bit of value out of the company, leaving investors with next to zero.
You also see that the Regulator is now putting in new legislation and procedures, checks & balances for this field of potential treatments now, so that this type of attempted fraud cannot ever happen again.
