I get what you are syaing. Truth is a horrible thing. The truth here is that Ukraine can not acheive it's original borders prior to 2014 and what it achieved in 2023. They are losing ground and the public is getting sick of the conscriptions. When Pokrovsk falls...it's over.

I think what people do not understand is that this has essentially been a civil war since 2014. It's old school Cossack based and a disaster in Europe. The area had/has a very large Russian population and much of the Donbass area had been a Russian and Ukranian mob area since Independance(and prior).

I hope everyone will understand that Russia could have annihilated Ukraine in the very beginning. That would have had a completely different reaction though ;)

Europe fucked up ....just prior to the event....and years prior(mainly). And we certainly didn't help because apparently...we didn't have the skin for it.

Another unfortunate truth ...

The whole thing sucks and I want it to end before Kellog leaves his appointment. And trust me...it's always about the Cossacks in that region(both Russian and Ukranian). They always start trouble.

Trump's TP peace plan is appeasement of the worst nature. How long would it be before
Putin is aggressive against others again. Your really do ignore the fact there can be no lasting peace without justice.

And as long as Putin is alive, there will be no lasting peace. Right now, he just wants some time to regroup, and then in a year or so, he'll once again invade what's left of Ukraine. He wants the whole country. Always has, always will. Nobody knows what'll happen when he kicks the bucket, and at 73, Putin could be running Russia for another 15 years or more.

However, Rubio has been doing an embarrassing job as a negotiator. He needs to show some backbone, but seems not to have any.
