Umm, no it has not essentially been a civil war since 2014, if Russia had not invaded it would have been very diferent. Can't imagine anyone who has been interested in it even considering saying what you just said. And what sort of a peace plan for Ukraine could possibly be conceived without Ukraine at the table as much as Russia is. As for you hoping for a peace plan before Kellog leaves, yeah that would be good as long as it isn't as lopsided a settlement as Trump, Putin and Witkoff have been trying to foist on Zelensky.

And i strongly disagree with your "Truth is a horrible thing", but do understand how any supporter of Trump could say it.

It is good that diplomacy has been reinvigorated, as Zelensky says, but that's about as far as anyone should be happy about the situation.
