Only reason I see for waiting would be to also announce something BEYOND simply we have X number of customers (meaning integrators, end users, foundries, design houses, any combination thereof) in Phase 3. Could be agreement(s) finalization...could be surprise announcement customer wants to make in conjunction with something more broad (where LWLG may be included, but customer prefers to have end product take the headline?). Of course, there is also the theory that in fact many of the 2-4 additional customers are also potential competitors (perhaps even likely)...LWLG keeps them all guessing...no one wants to hear that they were not asked to go to the prom first? ;-). Perhaps wishful thinking, but if LWLG announces they are in stage 3 with one customer, if you are not the customer in question, other potential customers discover rather unceremoniously that they may be second/third in line for whatever reason? Probably I am overthinking it...Just spit-balling here.

Yves explained this. He would prefer to keep everything silent until the devices are ready to be sold. That’s how customers want it. On the other hand he knows that in a public company there needs to be communication to the shareholders so he has committed to give an update. He litteraly said he will want to do that as late as possible and has time until 31/12 23.59hours to do that. Customers interests come first when you are a supplier. Customers is king. Especially when You’re playing with the big boys. That’s the reason.
