I have to correct you. Yves said if he could he wouldn’t want to communicate any news but unfortunately he is working for a public company so he has an obligation to the shareholders aswell. They have to be served and informed. On the question if he was waiting till Christmas Eve to communicate the amount of deals he responded that he has till new years Yves 24.00! That was a little joke but meaning to say I have promised before years end. Simple as it is if there is a deal he will communicate that but if he can he will wait as long as possible. Ofcourse clients want to be as secretive as possible in this stage for competition reasons! And Yves doesn’t want to influence other clients negatively. The beauty of waiting! And to be honest he knows later than end of the year is not acceptable! No hesitation in his attitude!

So the problem with that honestly is this. If you tell investors that there will be 3 to 5 customers and stage three by the end of the year and then it’s 3/4 of the way through the year when expectations are high, tell a group of investors “…but I’m not gonna tell you until December 31 at 11:59 …. “, you open up in a tremendous way, for people to manipulate, sow with bad intentions their seed, and cost the company dearly in terms of share price. (while you still have to issue shares to pay for ongoing operations). I understand what. Yves is saying, but I’m just saying we will all pay the price for the next two months…. And I don’t really agree with that as a strategy as it will cost dilution in some form. As a 17 year shareholder, I’ve seen much dilution because of bad shareholder strategy. So I will be honest and say while I’m very excited about what the company is doing, I don’t like this strategy and shorts will manipulate it …

They did yesterday and they will in the days ahead. Will they get caught red-handed, I have no idea.

For not naming companies anyway, I think that they can be announced as we go along, that that will build value, and will cost the company less in terms of dilution. Of course what people hear now for the next two months is that they really don’t have any customers. … exactly what some tried to imply yesterday to great effect.

Very excited about our future, but I think there’s another way to do this from the cheap seats.

Best to the longs,

I agree, he will not disclose names and will do it when he decides to do it, simple as that.
I still say a buyout is in the cards here.  Too much is at stake for a few that have a boatload of cash.

I don't understand what difference it makes to customers or why Mr. LeMaitre wants to wait until December 31 if customers have moved to stage 3 from stage 2 already or earlier than 12/31.  Did he explain how simply stating we now have X customers in stage 3 hurts the customer or Lightwave? The only harm I see by withholding this information is to the share price and long shsreholders. Thanks for sharing the information you received.
