It's the CPA in me Fiscal Year Definition Check so,
If the company’s fiscal year-end is March 31, 2026, that means:
Fiscal Year Period Covered
FY 2025 April 1, 2024 - March 31, 2025
FY 2026 April 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026
So, if today is late 2025 and they are projecting performance by the end of FY 2025, that fiscal period already ended months ago (March 31, 2025).
They can’t “anticipate” future performance for a fiscal year that’s already closed.
That makes the statement factually or chronologically wrong unless it was written earlier in 2025 (before March 31), (which we all know it wasn't) and not updated, or they meant FY 2026, but mistakenly wrote FY 2025.
It's all about those little details & full transparency. I do however agree w/ your time frame & what we hope Brito actually does. I will be curious how they plan on financing/paying for it however....(waiting....)
