Most everyone I know (and granted many of them are techies) always configure their new computers. It's not just the OS- it's how much memory do you wan/t need, video, sound, speed. Do you need extra fans, a heavy duty power supply, a case that's easy to change out parts? The OS is sometimes the least of it............
