If the company withdraws the application it won't matter what the "perception" is, the fact of withdrawal will dominate.

You have your view of the timing and I have mine, they are both valid.
Time will tell what the timing and use of the funding is.

Till then, it is all speculation.

If Anavex raises capital expecting that they will withdraw their MAA, they would open themselves up to a shareholders' class action suit. This is not something their lawyers would have them do.
