I completely agree with you. The capital will likely be necessary at some point, but like each of us had a different trading strategy that revolves around timing, day traders, swing/momentum traders, long term investments, timing of information matters. Why would it have been so difficult to announce this at the time of EMA submission, with a little bit of background? Instead, it's announced when theory and speculation can run rampant, at a critical juncture. I get the feeling it was either an afterthought or was timed this way to someone's benefit.
Let me add... if Anavex withdrawals or the answers are insufficient, what perception does it give if they raise capital before the next review cycle, after having an opportunity to answer CHMP questions.
