If one were to just supply ore to MP for processing, there is only a certain amount of profit in that. It is by doing the processing and refining that one adds value, which increases the profits to shareholders. Sure, setting up the plant to do the processing incurs cost, but the long term value to shareholders is greater by investing in additional items to add value on top of just extracting ore and selling that on.

There is heaps more also 65km down the road DTR has something special, like I said do some homework and you will see why DTR will build its own plant.

Dateline only has 3 years then we see if JD makes it and the mine continues, or that weak ass Desantis. God forbid if the left get their next Manchurian candidate in, this mine is closed asap. If China wants it closed, the Dems will close it ...again!

I believe the gov't wants to see the results from this latest round of testing and as would I as the company. If what Ozzie says is even half true, and these deposits are even richer than MP that puts us in prime position to negotiate even larger contracts etc.
