Could it be that this company was looking to merge back in 2021 but stepped back because of various issues at the time but has reappeared in 2025?

If you look at their website you can see they have had plenty of investment themselves ...

So, why go public/merge?

It could be that some instituitions that have invested want the ability to get out of their investment but do not have a proper liquid market to do.
