How much would you think the winning party should pay LP for being selected as the only partner to start a tumor-agnostic trial with tumor shrinkage as the outcome measure? I would say the number should be between $10b and $20b at minimum. Assume the winner is Merck. it is still a good deal for Merck since its sp should go up a lot.
