It isn’t getting settled until after discovery, and summary judgment, if then, imo. I still don’t think you understand the damages. The actions from the complaint time can lead to long term consequences beyond the complaint time, BUT, that is the opposite incentive you might otherwise conjecture. If hundreds of actions in 2019 (for example) had long term pps damaging consequences, but in spite of that, the company later shoots to the moon in 2025, the damages of what could have been only go higher.

I have waffled on whether they go to trial or not and am currently in the camp that we do not settle with the defendants. I think they will fight and for as long as possible while LP continues to give them this gift of terrible corporate governance. They are hoping we are pushed to insolvency as the economy begins to implode.
