Silicon photonics is maxed out, it had a good run, AI is stressing the entire ecosystem. The demand for this is large enough to justify a consortium type approach. Wouldn't that be interesting. The members of the group would pool resources and share ownership, multiple verticals could be addressed and developed simultaneously while legally using Lightwaves patents.
