Why do a few people talk about a consortium? Instead of mergers? Pooling of resources? Most of these companies don't even own a pot to piss in. (old time phrase for the geriatrics here). How would a consortium work with Lightwave, a public company, "consorting" with a bunch of private companies. Seems like a mess to me.

Why would, say Duport, want to get involved in a bunch of "modulator verticals"? They know how to stay in their lane, which is licensing and supplying chemicals. The could buy Lightwave for the Perk, but end users would have to be lined up, along with the foundries also.

Poison pill--could just answer the question--there is no minimum price poison pill provision. I don't know any company that uses a minimum price provision as a poison pill. Lightwave has a provision to issue preferred stock (the biggest pill) and /or board of director rules to prevent hostile takeovers.

Addition--no one should have expected more shareholder communication so far. It's only been a couple months, since the announced changes. You'll get a quarterly PR soon, as a lifeline for the hopelessly hopeful. I'd be a miracle if they did a webcast with the quarterly.
