It looks like this new trial is the one that appeared in a report in last Friday's on-line medical publication, "Doctors.net", prepared by PA Media, puffing up a new trial on GBM being conducted by Queen Mary University, London and Bart's (ie St. Bartholomew's) Brain Tumour Centre. Its stated aim is to provide a way of enabling "medics to predict effective drugs for each person", experts suggest.

Patients will have their healthy cells compared with cancerous ones to look for unusually activated or repressed genes, which could one day be targeted with new or repurposed drugs.

I'm not sure where that will fit in once the DCVax family of drugs is up and running, producing specific T-cells for each and every malignant epitope in the target tumour. Wherever its niche may be, it is not currently likely to be a competitor to DCVax in the foreseeable future. .
